Brave New Arts Events Ltd
Brave New Arts Events Ltd, is a ‘Not For Profit’ company limited by guarantee. The people involved with the company have been supporting music events and fundraising for good causes since 1994 and became a company limited by guarantee in March 2011. The company has supported many small to large scale events in the South Yorkshire area such as;
Music In The Sun Festival – 1993 to 1997 – maximum attendance 46,000 - The festival started in the car park behind the Sadacca Afro-Caribbean centre on the Wicker and moved to a bigger open-air venue at the grass bowl next to Sheffield Arena. The multi cultural festival ran for several years raising funds for ethnically diverse communities in Sheffield.
Lakeside Festival – 2001
EffingJam – 2002 to 2007 – a jam night which encouraged many young bands to perform in public, it gave many local bands their public debuts.
Oakwood Real Ale and Music Festival – later Rotherham Real Ale and Music Festival (at Magna, Rotherham) – from 2008 to date.
The real ale festival held initially at Oakwood Technology College from 1992 to 2010 was moved when a demolition of the school was mooted. The festival featured up to 5 stages at times with as many as 50 different artists including most music genres and poets, storytellers and other performing arts.

Bluebell Wood Fundraisers – various venues in Rotherham – 2001-2009
In 2017 Brave New Arts are launching a new event, The Strawberry Moon Festival. In the first year the event will support Rotherham Hospice and Bloodwise. The event will be at Herringthorpe Valley Park in Rotherham
